The “Pain and Cancer” research axis is dedicated to the characterization and physio-pharmacology of pain associated with cancer, including pain linked to cancer metastases and chemo-induced peripheral neuropathies (CIPN). We are also exploring the epidemiology of pain and co-morbidities during and after cancer, as well as the study of predictive biomarkers for CIPN, such as miRNAs and proteins. Our research includes the pathophysiology of CIPN, therapeutic innovation for their treatment and the identification of predictive factors for the evolution of neuropathic pain upon diagnosis of cancer.
