Field of research

We study the pathophysiology and pharmacology of chronic pain, mainly neuropathic and visceral.

Our team has specialized for many years in the pharmacological research of analgesic drugs. Our themes have evolved over the years to offer areas of research which specifically target chronic pain and which combine preclinical and clinical research. We are currently working around 4 areas of research :

Microbial Metabolites & Chronic Pain Axis

Microbiota/host interactions and management of chronic pain.
