Research Theme:
Axis Pathophysiology of mechanical allodynia.
Mechanical allodynia is a symptom found in patients treated for facial fractures, complex surgeries of the orofacial region or after treatment of head and neck cancers. My objectives are to characterize the painful after-effects and neurosensory disorders in these patients in order to distinguish painful patients from patients with neurosensory disorders, to identify populations at risk and ultimately to propose prevention.
